About this piece
This piece is intended primarily as textile wall art. If displayed on the floor, regular or heavy foot traffic is not recommended.
Flowers in pink, orange and yellow spread across almost three meters of textile. The scale matters: at 280 × 140 cm (110.2 × 55.1 in), each bloom is large enough to read as an individual drawing rather than a repeating motif, and the piece covers a substantial part of a wall in a living room, bedroom or sunroom.
Hung above a bed, it greets you with flowers before the window does; in a seating area it takes the place of a conventional large-format painting, but with the depth of a textile. Seven kilograms of weight (15.43 lbs) and a non-slip textile underside keep it stable when displayed on the floor.
The making is entirely manual. The design is drawn first, then tufted with a hand-held gun: acrylic yarn goes through a stretched textile base color by color, petal by petal, and the pile is sheared even at the end so the soft, deep surface stays uniform. Acrylic was chosen for how it behaves in a home: the palette stays bright in daylight, and routine care comes down to a lint roller and a gentle vacuum, with professional cleaning reserved for deep stains.
The Floral Symphony Rug is made to order at $835. A surface this size takes two to three weeks to tuft before dispatch; delivery is free across the EU and to the US, with a tracking number. The flower meadow can also be redrawn in other measurements, from a narrower wall composition to a smaller rectangle. Send the size you need and we will reply with a quote within a day.
